This activity was designed to improve the skills of the healthcare team so that the patient experience and care delivery is optimized. Strategies focus on teaching providers how to interpret and implement these new imaging protocols, biopsy techniques and following best practices.

Learning Objectives:

To optimize breast MR imaging sequences as well as the approach to interpretation to minimize the number of false-positive and false-negative findings.
To understand the management of biopsy outcomes after a breast MRI biopsy, including the management of high risk lesions and minimize the delay in diagnosis of breast cancer.
To review how to incorporate breast MRI into the clinical workflow to minimize the need for redundant and low value breast imaging examinations and best serve a diverse group of patients
