This session will review factors that contribute to racial and ethnic disparities in breast cancer outcomes, including access and utilization of screening mammography, supplemental screening, and tumor biology. Specific populations discussed will include Black, Hispanic and Asian women, and other underserved populations.

Learning Objectives:

Review the differences in presentation, tumor biology and outcomes of breast cancer in Black, Hispanic, Asian and other under resourced populations.
Explore barriers to access and utilization of screening that contribute to disparate breast cancer outcomes.
Offer strategies to mitigate racial and ethnic breast cancer disparities.
