Stephanie Patterson, MD, FSBI, FACR, is a Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. She is the past Associate Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of the Department of Radiology and a current member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. She has a particular interest in decreasing the disparities found in breast cancer in African American women and other underserved communities. Her research interests are in clinical research in breast cancer screening with emerging modalities and breast biopsy research and pathology. She has also won awards for collaborative community education efforts.
