Management of Architectural Distortions and Asymmetries

A review of non-mass soft tissue findings seen on mammography, their potential correlates on other modalities, management recommendations, methods of biopsy, and rad-path concordance.

Learning Objectives:

  • Have a better appreciation for identifying and working up asymmetries and architectural distortions of the breast, particularly when found on digital breast tomosynthesis.
  • Have greater confidence in the biopsy of these lesions including determining concordance and further management
  • Have a comprehensive awareness of the most recent literature regarding the management of these often challenging lesions
