Assistant Professor
UTH (University of Texas Houston)
I, Harnoor Singh, MD MBA, assistant professor at UTH am fortunate to be a part of a world class team.
Our team at UTH (University of Texas, Houston) embarked on this project to further look into one of the benign lesions with upgrade potential and figure out if some of the current practices are indeed relevant or not. It seems that community surgeons may still sometimes excise benign intraductal papillomas and not just intraductal papillomas with atypia. This research further corroborates the importance of selective surgical excision.
I have been fortunate to work with one of the best minds in the medical field at UTH. The faculty, radiology residents and medical students are very enthusiastic about research. The institution is also very supportive of the research effort.
I was previously faculty at UTMB in 2015 and then did private practice for sometime and now am thrilled to be back in the sublime world of academia.
Our goal is to produce clinically relevant research and also train the upcoming crop of residents and medical students to become the best they can be.
I think SBI is a great platform that helps and supports research and state of the art breast imaging practices.
