Dr. R. Jared Weinfurtner, MD is an associate member in Diagnostic Radiology at Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC) with a joint appointment at the University of South Florida (USF). He was appointed the breast imaging fellowship director at Moffitt in July of 2020. Dr. Weinfurtner received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and his medical degree at Case School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at Case Medical Center in Cleveland, where he was elected chief resident. He then completed a breast imaging fellowship at MCC/USF. Current research projects include radar reflector localization, mentorship in breast imaging, and quantitative breast MRI.
