Stamatia Destounis, MD, FACR, FSBI, is a radiologist at Elizabeth Wende Breast Care in Rochester, New York.
After training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, she completed a one-year breast imaging fellowship at the Elizabeth Wende Breast Clinic and has worked at EWBC since that time, and is the present managing partner. She serves on several breast imaging committees and is a reviewer for several peer-review journals. Her spare time is spent with her parents, husband and three grown sons.
