Allison Aripoli, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Diagnostic Radiology Residency Assistant Program Director, and Director of Resident Education for the Division of Breast Imaging. Nationally, Dr. Aripoli is Co-Chair of the Society of Breast Imaging Young Physician Section (YPS) Committee. Clinically, she specializes in breast imaging, including screening mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, CEM, and breast biopsy procedures.
Dr. Aripoli received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She continued her training at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis as a clinical fellow in Breast Imaging. Her research interests include patient adherence to imaging follow-up recommendations and atypia upgrade rates. She is passionate about resident/fellow education and mentors learners through research studies, academic writing, presentations, and other scholarly efforts.
