Dr. Catherine Giess is Deputy Chair of Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Brigham Health, and Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Previously Dr. Giess served as Division Chief of Breast Imaging for Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Giess received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She did her diagnostic radiology residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and her breast imaging fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is a recipient of the 2015 and 2017 RSNA honored educator award.
