Baṣak Dogan, M.D., FSBI, is Associate Professor of Radiology and Eugene P. Frenkel Endowed Scholar in Clinical Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she serves as a member of its Breast Imaging Division and the Director of Breast Imaging Research.
After obtaining her medical degree and completing diagnostic radiology residency in Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Dogan did her breast imaging fellowship in the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. Dr. Dogan’s research interests include artificial intelligence in breast imaging, advanced breast magnetic resonance imaging, optoacoustic imaging, cryoablation applications and microbubble contrast-enhanced ultrasound .
