Dr. Slanetz is Professor of Radiology, Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Associate PD of Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Boston University Medical Center. Her clinical research focuses on healthcare disparities, evaluating new breast technologies, and artificial intelligence. Educationally, she has developed curricula related to evidence-based imaging, breast EPAs, professionalism, peer teaching, communication, healthcare disparities, and wellness. She currently is Subspecialty Chair of ACR Appropriateness Criteria Breast Imaging Panels, AUR President and Past President of Massachusetts Radiological Society. She is a Fellow of ACR, SBI, AAWR and AUR. She received the 2020 ACER Achievement Award and 2023 APDR Achievement Award.
