Heather Greenwood, MD, FSBI, is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California San Francisco. She graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University and subsequently obtained her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency training at New York University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in breast imaging at UCSF. Her research is focused on the detection of breast cancer in young women, high-risk screening, and DCIS on MRI. In her free time, she enjoys distance running and spending time with her family and friends.
