Cherie M. Kuzmiak, DO, FACR, FSBI is a Professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Medicine. Dr. Kuzmiak is the Associate Section Chief,of Breast Imaging for the American College of Radiology (ACR) Institute for Radiologic Pathology. In addition, she is a Breast Imaging committee member for both the Appropriateness Criteria ACR and the Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee for the Radiology Society of North American. Her research focus is on the development of novel breast imaging tools and artificial intelligence/machine learningor for the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer .
