Dr. Poplack is a professor of radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is recognized internationally as a breast imaging educator and for scientific contributions in the development of alternative breast imaging technologies and digital breast tomosynthesis. His current research interests include the clinical translation of ultrasound-optical fusion technologies and the role of ultrasound in axillary management. Dr. Poplack is a member of the American College of Radiology subcommittee on BI-RADS mammography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging.
