In this session, attendees will learn about the current state of breast imaging in various low- and middle-income countries and collaborative efforts to improve breast imaging globally. The discussion will focus on the collective experiences of the speakers from their work in North and South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Attendees will hear perspectives on global health breast imaging from radiologists and technologists and will learn about opportunities to volunteer.

Learning Objectives:

Discuss examples of current breast imaging global outreach efforts
Describe common obstacles in breast imaging in low- and middle- income regions and potential solutions for improving breast cancer early detection in these areas
Identify opportunities to contribute to outreach efforts as a technologist, attending physician, or trainee
