In this session, breast radiology leaders will discuss challenges and opportunities in a post-COVID world when it comes to department operations, trainee education, patient access, and more. This discussion is in collaboration with the American Association for Women in Radiology and The Society of Breast Imaging's Young Physician Section.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn how COVID has impacted trainee education, mentorship, and sponsorship.
  • Understand the potential implications of leading in the post COVID era as a young leader.
  • Understand how the post COVID era has affected practices and institutions operationally from a breast imaging department standpoint and explore future opportunities to improve patient care, potentially mitigate physician burnout, and improve trainee education.
